Note: The HG300 and HG310 do not have "solid spruce" tops. ![]() The construction, fit and finish are absolutely wonderful, as is the sound! Others have "semi-solid spruce" or "select spruce" tops but this series is "solid spruce". There are many HG models with higher numbers or just one or two numbers but nothing matches the HG3xx series. As far as I know, this is the only series that Hohner produced of all-solid-wood hand-made guitars. Right now I'm traveling and won't get home for a few days to check my vintage Hohner catalog that features the original limited edition HG3xx series made in Japan. ![]() That is an exceedingly rare and wonderful guitar-a hand-made copy of the Martin D-45! (BTW, if you were to order a Brazilian Rosewood Martin D45 today, it would cost you $45,000!!) I currently own the HG360R (rosewood) and have owned the HG360M (maple) but have never seen the HG370. The Hohner HG370 Limited Edition guitar is extremely rare and (as far as my research shows) the top of the line of this very limited series of guitars made for Hohner in Japan in the '70s. ![]()
